About Paul A. Douglas
Paul Douglas was born in Belfast and emigrated to Canada at age four, shortly after his parent joined the LDS Church in Ireland.
His little family settled in Edmonton, which only had one branch at that time. The branch president was N. Eldon Tanner who later went on to become an Apostle himself.
Paul has been married for forty-eight years and has five children and nine grandchildren. A high priest, he has held Stake and Ward callings in the Church, his favorite teaching the Gospel Doctrine class.
Professionally, Paul founded a multinational management training organization in 1975 which now has offices throughout the United States and Canada. Paul has written eight books on mostly management and leadership topics. He has several degrees in Business Administration including a Ph.D. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and prior to forming his firm he was a member of the Business Faculty at the University of Alberta, the business school where earlier he had earned his MBA degree.
Paul is a citizen of Canada, the United States, Ireland and the UK and currently lives in Gig Harbor, Washington and Edmonton, Alberta.
